HAR BETI MERI
Useful story for the girls who runaway from home for their lover
A boy, aged about 25 years, a girl, aged about 18 years, and a man, aged about 40 years, entered a photocopy shop. They were in a hurry and gave some identity proofs like Aadhar card and matriculation certificate for photocopying. The girl looked sad and worried. The shop owner, who was about 60 years old, asked how many copies were to be made and why. The girl blurted out, “Just make 10 each, I don’t know if I will get a chance to do it again, I don’t know if we will even be left alive.”
The man accompanying her said, “Hey, don’t worry, everything will be fine. I assure you!.”
Since it was a public place, they signaled the girl to keep quiet.
Seeing their behavior, the shopkeeper became skeptical. He asked the girl, “What is the matter, daughter? You seem a bit sad. If there is any problem, tell me. I am like your father.”
On hearing her father’s name, the girl became tearful and said, “I love this boy and want to marry him, but my family is not agreeing. So I ran away from home. This man with us is his uncle. He gave me assurance that once I get married to the boy, everyone will accept us.”
The shopkeeper silenced the girl and asked her lovingly, “If you have to choose between 100 rupees and 1 rupee, what would you choose?”
The girl said, “Uncle, this is really a silly question, I will obviously choose 100 rupees only.”
Then the shopkeeper explained, “The same thing applies to relationships as well; you have run away leaving behind hundreds of relationships for one relationship.”
Hearing this, the girl was shocked and silenced for a while. Then she asked the boy to hand over her phone back to her.
The boy refused to give the phone and said, “I love you very much, we both will be very happy.” The girl said, “Are you giving me the phone or not?” But the boy did not give the phone.
Seeing the situation, the shopkeeper offered his phone to the girl and she talked to her father. The girl said crying, “Papa, can you come here to pick me up?” Then she gave the phone to the shopkeeper.
The shopkeeper told his address on the phone and said, “Until you come, my daughter is safe with me.”
Seeing all this progress those two boys started running. Then the girl said, “Why are you running, you love me a lot.” But even then the boys did not stop and tried to escape with her stuff. The girl said, “Catch them, there are a lot of jewelries in my bag which I brought from home.” Then the people around caught both of them and handed them over to the police.
By evening the girl’s father came and took her home. The girl said to the shopkeeper, “Uncle, thank you very much. I am taking a hundred relationships in exchange for one.”

This girl was saved because of that good shopkeeper, but many unfortunate girls do not get this chance. They give up a hundred relationships in exchange for one and later most of them do not get even one relationship too. They are at risk of being cheated, lost, sold, or killed. Sometime they die unidentified.
This girl can be anyone near you. She could be your sister, cousin, friend, or neighbor. Spread the awareness. Your one share can save many girls’ lives.
SAVE EVERY GIRL. HAR BETI MERI .
