The Tea lovers

If someone asks you, what is common in Indian houses? What would be your reply (javab)?? A country vast like India, which has a rich cultural and historical background,what could be the common thing? A country like India,which has 22 official languages, ,13 scripts , more than 122 major languages and over 720 dialects, a country known for its beauty of diversity, where tradition and culture changes within small regions, what could be the one’ thing’ which is common in all Indian house holds??

To your surprise, it is neither the food nor the dress sense of indians, but a small sweet hot cup of tea( chai) . Yes! India is a paradise (swarg) of tea lovers. Every time is the tea time. Tea is the life of India. Many people here , leave their bed in the morning, only after having a cup of tea.

Tea is offered to every guest(mehman) , doesn’t matter what time he visits. People here can survive without food but not without tea (overstatement 😂).

You can find tea corners all over in India ,be it the last stop of Kanya Kumari or the remote village of Himalayas.

Tea binds India . Offering tea is the best way to start a dialogue with someone and make friends.

Every railway station,bus station wherever you go, you will hear this loud sound “chai.., chai….” Tea vendors trying to attract their customers, and you will find them crowded in a moment.

Though some people try to avoid taking tea but they are considered as aliens (ha ha )

So whenever you plan to visit India , remember one sentence, “Bhaiya, jara ek cup chai dena “.
